I am not overly emotional or sentimental but I did cry when I found this dress. My mom was visiting from out of state for my college graduation, I took her shopping with me just to get an idea of what I thought looked good vs. what actually looked good on me. I had NO intention of finding "my" dress that day but it simply found me. Even with a few pounds on I had planned to lose, this dress made me feel as though I could stay exactly how I was and feel perfect!
The gown is very comfortable and has a great structure in the bodice. The chiffon is light and the bodice is the heaviest part of the dress, perfect for summer/outdoor/destination weddings. Very no fuss and I could go to the restroom without assistance!!! You cannot tell from the appearance but the bodice has full boning and holds you in well (perfect for someone worried about a bit of "mommy tummy"). It is also perfect for giving shape to straight figures. It is a zip back with faux buttons; underneath I wore the David's Bridal "Bustier with Smooth Thin Bodice" (Style 8704) in 36A and the David's Bridal Fit and Flare Slip (Style 550) in size 12.
