David's Bridal V3448/ AI10012205 Lounge unclassified dresses

The dress was purchased for our daughter. Her bridesmaids, future m-i-l, aunt etc. fell in love with the dress the moment they saw her in it and she had not seen one she liked better after shopping for several months so she went with it while it was on sale. When she went to get it fitted for alteration, the lady that was about to do the fitting said "You do not love this dress. You only like this dress. I see you looking at the dress in the window. It is on consignment, you need to try it on to see if you can love this dress or if you love another." She tried on the other dress and loved it -- the first one she had truly loved and it needed no alterations. So, we went with the other dress and this one has not been worn more than a couple of times for trying on and fitting. David's Bridal won't take it back as it is past the date of when they would plus they wanted to do an exchange instead -- which we would have done for bridesmaids gowns if we had not already gotten them -- from David's Bridal. It was purchased on sale for $300 but it is currently listed as on sale again at $250.
