This is a rare dress-- I haven't been able to find anything other than a single picture of it online and it's of a different version, so you definitely won't look like every other bride out there.

At the same time, it's a classic style and a stunningly beautiful gown, and above all, super flattering. Generously cut, and it has a lot of extra fabric for letting out and sizing up, so it could probably fit a large range of sizes-- anything from a 12 to 18/20, possibly more with a good seamstress. Would be perfect if you're pregnant, recently postpartum or just have a fuller figure.

In original unhemmed condition, so it's ideal if you're very tall (well over 6'), or just love to wear huge heals. Approximately 64" from the top of the shoulder seam to the front hem. Longer in the back with the train.

It's a 100% silk gown, NOT horrible bridal polyester. Silk chiffon overlay with silk satin underlay. Both fabrics are very high quality and beautiful, and the combination gives the dress an airy but still sophisticated look. There's a partial tulle underskirt for some fullness at the bottom. Fully lined in poly (the only synthetic part). There's also an internal strap with hook and eye closures for added structure and a better fit.

The details on this dress are exquisite as well as thoughtful, and include many design elements to hide flaws while enhancing a beautiful shape:

-The front pleats are visually slimming, and give the gown an elegant and graceful Grecian look, which is a beautiful style but can sometimes look unflattering on anything other than the slimmest, straight-up-and-down figures. However, gown has an overall flattering A-line silhouette so it works for every figure.

-Ruching around the bust flatters and enhances the décolletage.

-More ruching on back helps create a beautiful hour glass figure. Enhances your shape without sacrificing the gown's clean lines.

-Thicker straps that sit a bit higher off the shoulders. This doesn't seem particularly noteworthy until you've tried on something cut this way and then another dress with something like spaghetti straps. The proportions and height are very slimming for the upper body and especially flattering on the upper arms. Also critical if you are well endowed and want to wear an actual bra.

The beaded belt is beautiful and consists of several different kinds of crystals and white beading. It adds just enough sparkle and interest to keep the gown from being too simple.

Velvet ribbon that can be tied in the back, replaced or removed altogether.

The buttons are covered in the same silk chiffon as the overlay and the button holes are elastic so that they can be easily fastened without struggling for ages or pinching your fingers.

The train is somewhere between a chapel and sweep length.

Color is Natural/Ivory. Much prettier than a stark or diamond white.

NB: I have dozens of additional pictures of this gorgeous dress, so please email me if you would like to see more. I would be happy to send them to you.
