I fell in love with a Monique Luhullier dress but didn't like how low it came down in the front and wasn't in love with the way it looked in the back. I brought a photo of it to a dressmaker and requested she make me something similar with a high back. She is a miracle worker, and told me she would do it but only works in silk and lace and wouldn't work in polyester, it added onto my $1000 budget but once I saw the final product I didn't care about how much I had gone over. The dress, is light and is the most beautiful garment I've ever owned. It moved with me and made e feel like I was floating on air, in the way only total silk can. There is a small train with an American bustle.
The dress comes in two pieces, the 100% silk sheath, and then the 100% lace overlay.
