I purchased this dress from Vera Wang on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills (the new location) just recently so it's still current and I have the original paperwork. It comes with the original dust bag and Vera Wang wooden hanger. It's one of their "Lux" gowns which is the very best. After trying on 40+ dresses this was immediately my favorite. It's classic and etherial looking but with a bit of edge from the combination of Chantilly lace and horsehair tulle. It looks delicate on the outside but inside is a sort of hard, tight corset which is super comfortable, holds everything in and is extremely figure flattering- one of my favorite parts. I had a sweetheart neckline added for an additional $500. The back is somewhat low with a long line of tiny satin buttons. Vera Wang does two bustle versions on this gown- the American and the French. I chose the American which is less ruffly and in my opinion, more flattering from the back.

I had two wedding dresses so this was minimally worn (maybe 3 hours) but some light tears did happen at the bottom to the outside tulle. Nothing that can't be repaired. There's so much tulle that it's not really noticable-I didn't see it until the cleaners told me. I tried to picture everything as best as possible. Specifically it's some very tiny holes plus the one larger tear which is the one you'll want to have sewn. Also note that I'm 5'7" and I wore this gown with 5.5 inch heels so depending on how you hem it to your perfect length, it might take care of it. I deeply discounted both to reflect any anticipated repair plus I would like to get this sold ASAP since it's current collection.
I also have the matching Vera Wang veil which I bought separately and I would be willing to throw in for free if it isn't already sold.
